Singapore Urban Redevelopment Authority
The City Gallery will dramatically demonstrate the historic, current and future outcomes of Singapore’s deliberate and long-term planning efforts. The gallery dynamically illustrates the highly effective policies, methods and strategies used by Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority. It showcases how Singapore transformed itself into a vibrant city for 4.6 million people without sacrificing space for greenery, heritage, and gracious living. A key focal point of the visitor centre is a “virtual lab” where visitors engage in an urban planning simulation to better understand the challenges in balancing live/work/play in an urban environment.
