Haggin Museum
The Haggin Museum in Stockton, California is in the process of re-inventing its visitor experience. The first phase is the re-opening of the art wing as a newly curated and refurbished installation of the museum’s eclectic art collection featuring works that speak to the local history and context of the inland seaport city. The reinstalled galleries include new digital media interactives that offer a deeper understanding of the artists, their extended works, and the eras in which they lived. A concept plan has been completed for the second phase which involves all new history exhibits activated by interactive digital media that dramatizes the stories that shaped the city of Stockton.
